[ Safety & Compliance ]
Documented,
not just done.
An inspection is only worth what the paperwork behind it is worth. Here is how we run ours, and what you get on the way out the door.
DOT & FMCSA inspections
Annual DOT inspections performed and documented by qualified inspectors under 49 CFR 396.17, with the inspection report and decal issued on completion. Brake inspections are performed by personnel meeting the brake-inspector qualifications in 49 CFR 396.25.
Out-of-service repairs
If an inspection turns up an out-of-service condition, we tell you immediately and quote the repair before anything is touched. We do not release a unit as inspection-passed until the defect is corrected and re-checked.
Records
Copies of every inspection and repair order are kept on file and available to you on request — useful when a roadside inspection or an audit asks for maintenance history.
Parts
OE or OE-equivalent parts on safety-critical systems. If a customer asks for something else, it goes on the work order in writing.
Shop safety
Lockout/tagout on energized systems, wheel chocks and stands under every raised unit, and no one works under a rig held up by a jack alone.
Questions on a specific unit
Call the shop at (801) 790-0258 with the unit number and we will pull the file.
