Terms of Service
The ground rules for work performed at the shop. Last updated July 2026.
Booking a repair
A request submitted through this site is a request, not a confirmed appointment. A slot is booked once we confirm it with you by phone. Bay availability shown on this site is indicative — it is not a reservation and not a guarantee that a bay will be free when you arrive.
Estimates & approval
You get a written estimate before work begins. If diagnosis or teardown turns up additional work, we stop and contact you for approval before continuing. Diagnostic time may be billable whether or not you proceed with the repair; we will tell you before we start.
Turnaround
Turnaround times quoted on this site and at the counter are estimates in good faith. Parts availability, a fault that turns out to be something else, and out-of-service findings can move them. We tell you as soon as we know.
Parts
We use OE or OE-equivalent parts on safety-critical systems. Customer-supplied parts may be installed at our discretion and are not covered by our workmanship warranty.
Warranty
Workmanship is warranted for 90 days or 25,000 miles, whichever comes first. Parts carry the manufacturer's warranty and nothing beyond it. The warranty does not cover abuse, accident, a unit operated with a known defect, or work performed elsewhere afterward.
Text messaging
By submitting the booking form and providing your mobile number, you agree we may contact you about your request by phone, text, and email. Service-reminder texts are sent only with your separate opt-in. Message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Pickup, storage & liability
Units left in the yard are left at the owner's risk; we are not responsible for cargo, tools, electronics, or personal property left in or on a unit. Units not collected within 7 days of completion may incur daily storage. Utah law provides a mechanic's lien on unpaid repair work.
Payment
Payment is due at pickup unless open terms have been agreed in writing. Balances past due may accrue interest at the maximum rate permitted by Utah law.
Roadside service
Roadside and mobile calls are dispatched on a best-effort basis and are billed for travel and time whether or not the repair can be completed on site. If a unit needs to be towed in, tow charges are the customer's.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah. KT Repair Services LLC may update them; the version in effect when your work order is opened is the one that applies.
